Refurbished office furniture on a rental model

bcause is a finance app for good, based in Berlin-Charlottenburg. In 2025 the team suddenly faced a challenge: it had to move out of a sublet at short notice, and at the same time the growing team needed a complete office set-up. New furniture would have meant high costs and long lead times — and would not have matched the company’s values. So bcause opted for refurbished furniture on a Fenyx rental model. Within a few days the new office was fully equipped: electrically height-adjustable desks, ergonomic swivel chairs and meeting room furniture — ready to go from day one.

This model gives me that flexibility without spending much time on it.” Alongside a clear cost saving of 52%, bcause gained something even more valuable: time to advance its own mission.

From sublet to new office — in a matter of days

Felix Oldenburg: “A few weeks ago I had a problem. We had to get out of a sublet with a growing team and suddenly needed a full set of office furniture. Today, a few days later, here I am and everything is ready.” The project shows how the Fenyx rental model allowed bcause to manage the move in record time — straightforward, flexible and immediately usable.
