Refurbishment instead of buying new
An internationally active financial institution based in France pursues an ambitious climate strategy with clearly defined sustainability targets. For our client, Fenyx took on the complete coordination of the technical refurbishment of 3,300 office swivel chairs. The aim was to systematically extend the life of the existing equipment while measurably improving the company’s carbon footprint. Over three months — alongside normal operations — the chairs were reworked in a structured process: from deep cleaning through to replacing relevant wear parts such as gas springs, mesh backs, seat covers and armrests. Standardised delivery ensured a consistently high standard of quality throughout.

Efficient delivery — integrated into day-to-day operations
The work was carried out across sites in clearly defined intervals and agreed time windows. Precise logistics and structured process planning allowed the entire inventory to be modernised systematically — without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Technically upgraded — instead of replaced
Rather than replacing everything, the client invested specifically in retaining value: wear parts were replaced, surfaces professionally reworked and individual components technically upgraded. The result: a longer service life, unchanged ergonomic comfort and sustainable use of existing resources.
Measurable CO₂ reduction — transparently documented
The emissions savings from the refurbishment were captured systematically and made available for sustainability reporting. That made the project not only an operational success but also a quantifiable contribution to the group-wide ESG strategy.

"I look forward to advising you on the sustainable transformation of your workplace."
